Bridge work continues on Interstate 10 near Texas Canyon east of Benson next week The following I-10 restrictions will be in place through Friday, August 17:
The work also includes repairs at the westbound rest area in Texas Canyon, which will remain closed until Sept. 2012, construction of a new bridge barrier wall at Adams Peak Wash near milepost 309, and improvements at Sibyl Road near milepost 312. ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and be alert for construction equipment and personnel. ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
